Some ranches choose to provide an organic product.  While there is nothing wrong with being organic, we choose to save the time and expense of going through the certification process; instead, producing what we believe to be a better product.  And when we say Owner Certified USDA Grass-Fed, we mean that we comply with USDA standards for “Grass Fed” and will attest to all the agricultural practices we employ at the ranch, including:

· No pesticides, insecticides or herbicides on the fields or pastures;

· No use of hormone supplements on those animals we have designated as such;

· No antibiotics;

· Not fed animal by-products;

· Humane treatment of animals;

· Minimal handling;

· Regular veterinarian care;

· Strict breeding program;

· Source verified;

· No cloning;

· No genetically altered feed;

· Grass and natural vegetation diet only - no grain;

· Occasional use of vitamin supplement at times of year when needed.
